The second edition of CycleCity's Manchester map is expanded by more than 50 per cent and now covers an area from Oldham in the north to Manchester airport in the south. The new edition is sponsored by local authorities, the airport and a group of south Manchester hospitals.
Double-sided like all CycleCity maps, the area covered is 18km x 24 km and includes an enlarged A5 map panes for Manchester city centre .
More than 40 bike shops are listed within the map area and routes have been compiled with the assistance of Sprocket, the Greater Manchester Cycle Campaign. Route information is overlaid on a Greater Manchester A-Z street atlas base map.
Information is provided on the use of Manchester's canals and on local train services. Other publications listed include leisure rides in the Manchester area as well as the Trans Pennine Trail, which passes through the southern half of the map.
