Completely revised and updated with the assistance of Go Bike!, the Strathclyde Cycle Campaign. The second edition was partly sponsored by the Greater Glasgow Health Board and uses the Ordnance Survey Street Atlas as a base. It was given to every delegate to the 2001 Velo-city conference in Glasgow and Edinburgh.
The map covers an area from Milngavie and Bearsden in the north to Barrhead in the south, and from Clydebank in the west to Stepps in the east. Glasgow's green fingers of the River Kelvin path and the Forth and Clyde Canal towpath are easily seen.
Links to ferry, tunnel and bridge crossings of the River Clyde are highlighted. Sustrans routes north to Loch Lomond and south to Irvine are marked . Information on taking bikes on trains and bikes on ferries is also added.
