Published by Leicester City Council and produced by CycleCity Guides, the maps is in the standard format, using a base specially made by Ordnance Survey.
It has an area of 18 km x 16 km, a city centre enlargement and details of the named and signed cycle routes. The map was the first to be produced in collaboration with local authorities and pioneered several features which have since featured elsewhere, such as the marking of Toucan crossings and all important bridleways.
The map was created in a partnership involving Leicester City Council, Leicestershire County Council and the Leicester Urban Fringe Project. Available from bike shops and book shops in Leicester or from CycleCity Guides.
